Adventure Mode ("we", "us") provides a persistent AI Game Master service at adventure-mode.com, played through your own Claude account via an MCP connector. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it, in plain language, because that is how we would want it explained to us.
What we collect
Your email address, used to sign you in (magic links), to associate your subscription, and for essential service messages. We do not send marketing email.
Your game content: the campaign files (scenes, characters, logs, world state) the Game Master writes while you play. This is stored so your world persists between sessions and across devices. It is yours; see "Your content" below.
Billing status (whether your subscription is active), received from our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
Operational logs kept briefly for debugging and abuse prevention (timestamps, request metadata). We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
Cookies: only the minimum needed for sign-in and checkout flows. No advertising cookies.
Your content
Your campaign vault belongs to you. It is stored in per-user isolated storage, is never used to train models, is never sold, and is never shown to other users. You can export it (it is plain markdown) or ask us to delete it at any time.
Who else touches data (service providers)
Anthropic (Claude): you play through your own Claude account, so your conversation with the Game Master is processed by Anthropic under their privacy policy. We do not operate the model.
Cloudflare: hosts our servers and storage.
Polar: our merchant of record. They process payments and handle card data under their privacy policy.
Twilio SendGrid: delivers our sign-in emails.
We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Retention and deletion
Account and vault data are kept while your account exists. To delete your account and all vault content, email support@adventure-mode.com from your account address; we will confirm and delete within 30 days. Backups age out on their own schedule shortly after.
Children
Adventure Mode is not directed at children under 13, and the default fiction is written for adults.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
