Terms of Service

The service

Adventure Mode Cloud hosts a private campaign vault, server-side dice, and the connector that lets Claude act as your persistent Game Master. You play through your own Claude account, which you maintain separately under Anthropic's terms; a Claude subscription is not included and Claude's own usage limits apply.

Your account

Sign-in is by email magic link. You are responsible for the security of your email inbox and for activity on your account. One account per person; keep it human.

Subscriptions and billing

• Plans are $5/month or $48/year, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Prices may change with notice; changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period.
• Payments are processed by Polar, our merchant of record. Polar's checkout terms apply to the transaction, and your receipt comes from them.
• Cancel anytime via the link in your receipt email or by contacting support; your access continues to the end of the paid period.
• If something went wrong, email support within 14 days of a charge and we will make it right: a refund for a service that did not work is never an argument.

Your content

Everything the Game Master writes into your vault is yours. You grant us only the license needed to store it and serve it back to you. Export it whenever you like; it is plain markdown.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to store or generate content that is illegal, or that sexualizes minors, in any jurisdiction, fictional framing included.
• Do not attack, probe, or overload the infrastructure, or attempt to access other users' vaults.
• The default fiction is written for adults: violence, loss, and moral ambiguity are part of the game. Player content limits, once stated in-game, are honored by the GM.

The dice are honest, the fiction is fiction

Rolls are generated server-side and logged to an auditable ledger. Everything the Game Master narrates is fiction produced by an AI model; it is not advice of any kind.

Availability and warranty

We aim for the service to be reliable, and campaign state is stored durably with your vault as the source of truth. Still, the service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can leave anytime (see cancellation and deletion above). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice and an explanation except where the violation makes that unreasonable.
